Two Boat Itinerary
Arrive at Swanick Marina, Bursledon, just off Junction 8, M27. You will be welcomed aboard your yacht by the Skipper and crew, who will serve coffee and breakfast.
The yachts leave the pontoon and cruise down the picturesque Hamble River. The skipper will give an introduction to the boats and a safety briefing during this passage.
Hoist the sails and head towards the Isle of Wight. This is when everyone gets to know the boats and each other. Our professional crew will show you the ropes; guests will get the opportunity to take the helm, man the winches and trim the sails. Guests are welcome to go for a spin in the RIB, take photos of the yachts and generally enjoy the thrill of a high-speed powerboat.
Stop for drinks and a delicious lunch in a sheltered anchorage, we often use Osborne Bay off the Isle of Wight, which is where Queen Victoria used to summer.
The afternoon is very much up to you and your guests, we can either set up a race course using the RIB and various marks around the Solent; we promise this will raise the adrenalin as well as the fun! Or, if you are feeling a little more relaxed for such activity, the yachts can gently cruise around the Solent. You can take in the sights, participating in the sailing as and when you wish.
Drop the sails at the mouth of the Hamble River and motor back to the marina; afternoon tea will be served on deck during this passage.
5.30pm Boats dock and guests depart.
